A SUMMIT OF PERSPECTIVES
From June 16 to 18, 2020, Montreal will host the Disaster & Resilience International Summit. This trilingual event (French, English, Spanish) will be a meeting point for a variety of actors (managers and policymakers, stakeholders and humanitarians, experts and academics, artists and creators, local and indigenous populations). While targeting the needs of individuals, families, businesses, communities, participants will discuss resilience perspectives through an inclusive, multi-hazard and multi-disciplinary approach, before, during and after disasters.
Selected by the Rockefeller Foundation, the City of Montreal was the first Canadian city to join the 100 Resilient Cities program. Booming hub for the tech industry, culinary paradise, top-tier student destination, the Quebec metropolis will charm you with its great hospitality.
